Articles. They are essays centered on a wide range of economic and social matters, written by external contributors (55% foreigners) who enjoy of international prestige.

Documents. They are reports and other materials from national public institutions, non-governmental, regional and international organizations.

Sections. Journal staff gathers and processes information to elaborate articles on current topics, arranged in sections according to a geographical criteria: National, Latin American and International.

Sección nacional. It usually includes one or two articles with information and analysis on relevant socioeconomic matters in Mexico, as well as the "News Account": a monthly record of brief notes by sectors which give account of the most significant economic events in the country.

Sección latinoamericana. It shares the same characteristics than the National Section, but dealing with Latin American countries. Its "News Account" was first published on January 1978.

Sección internacional . It comprises articles on international events; it does not include a “News Account”.

Bibliography. It counts with reviews of books of general interest.

Statistical Summary. It has annual statistical series of Mexican foreign trade: trade balance, main exports and imports, and trade by countries and economic blocks.
